Understand Me

Understand Me.

I’m not like an ordinary world.

I have my madness.

I live in another dimension and

I do not have time for

things that have no soul.

Charles Bukowski

Charles Bukowski may not be the only weirdo to inspire my burning thoughts, but within this quote, I am home.

Tom Robbins, Nina Simone, Charles Mingus, Tom Waits, Tilda Swinton, The Cohen Brothers, Sam Rami & Bruce Campbell, River Phoenix, the 1980’s cast of SNL, Carl Jung, the logic and romanticism of my parents’ influence, Red Dwarf, Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, every dog whose ever owned me, and my two best girl friends are how my heart & brain found a way to being alive.

In Ordinary Madness is a selfish endeavor.

Our society is superficial and fissured. It is complacent, anxious, ordinary and mad like wonderland, except drugs are shameful and so is being honest or genuine.

Regardless, I enjoy Charles Bukowski’s sentimentally graphic writing.

I connect with this idea of living in another dimension because apparently your opinion is just as valid as my knowledge; facts, decency, logic, reality, honesty have left the building.

Existing In Ordinary Madness while nonsense and ignorance prevail is like living in another dimension. AND No, we do not have time for things that have no soul.
